Daily prompt – Wasted days and nights

Tell us your tried and true techniques for focusing when that deadline looms and you need to get work done. In other words, how do you avoid wasted days and wasted nights?

When i was at University i used to leave everything until the last minute, this is not the right way to do it though lol.

The very last assignment i had, i decided to spend more time on it and do it earlier on, and surprisingly i got an A, a pity i didn’t do this throughout aha.

Anyways the best way for me is to be alone, tv off, phone off, no music, as little distraction as possible and just get on with it, i usually have a snack too for a break of course.

I wouldn’t do the whole assignment at once, i would take my time, too much work can get you down so i think having breaks helps.

Even though i have done it so many times leaving in until the last minute is the worst thing to do, you will get stressed, rush and end up with work that isn’t up to your standards.

Time, patience and good snacks is the way to go 🙂
