Daily prompt – i walk the line

Have you got a code you live by? What are the principles or set of values you actively apply in your life?

As i have got older my values and principles and code of life has changed. I mean when we were younger everyone seemed good and the world seemed a happy safe place, but as you get older you learn otherwise.

Therefore i stand by good old fashioned values of family come first. They are my support system along with a few close friends. I obviously follow the law and abide by any rules i need to but one main principle i stand by is to be happy for what you have, be grateful for each day, things could be bad today but worse tomorrow so don’t take anyone or anything for granted. Life isn’t a competition so don’t treat it like one, it doesn’t matter who gets paid more, who has a better car or bigger house etc be happy to be you and what you have. i also think it is important to be happy for others and to surround yourself with positive people who want the best for you as you do them.

Not sure this is exactly what the post is about but these are my belief’s and what i live by.
